When I came out of the hospital for a total brain collapse into mushy mushrooms, I decided to start fresh with health and get back into my passion for hiking. I lived alone then , in Montreal, so looked for a companion dog and found a true gem: a fully boot camp trained GSD cross. We left the city to go hike through back country villages in Quebec and New Brunswick for three weeks that year we met (2002).

The dress , rough cotton with the sunflowers, was paid 75$ in 1996 on my father in law's credit card and got bought in Barcelona, Spain. I was totally in love with it. It felt totally extravagant to buy a dress out of the blue while traveling without that sort of money because I loved it so very much.
