Fabulous news: there will be a sequel to Planet Yland. 

Heureuse nouvelle: il y aura une suite à La planète Yland.

I have been working at brainstorming on the computer about what the story of Charlelle would be while she has broken up with Edgar (who left to go colonize Earth). So far, I have a great step aunt, heavy drinking, the centre for culture of Ylanders and Charlelle making love to a tree (it has been done before but it is so unheard of still by me anyway). 

UPDATE

After about 15 hours, a 28 pages French sequel draft to La planète Yland has been written overnight. I am looking like porridge this afternoon, after staying up all night to work and write the first draft of it. 

The first book of La planète Yland took me 7 years to get to print in French. The text was massaged and augmented and polished over and over throughout the years, to the current state in the French  and English editions. 

The initial title (may change) for the sequel is now La planète Yland de  Charlelle by Lilou.
