I got up at 8:30am, so I had a short 5 hours of sleep, disturbed too by my worries about the cats smashing into things, this morning, for one or two hours. We went to the café on Austin in Maillardville, the historical french quarters (mill town in the 19th century). I had a butter croissant I shared with both dogs and a flat white, THE best we found in the vicinity. Hubby had a giant white chocolate and ginger scone. And a coffee, flat white. He is the one who introduced me to flat whites, out west. I can certainly taste them and the difference in strenght of taste at Coffee & Vanilla.
What a marvelous hot drink in the morning!
thank you Hubby for introducing me to it out west.
