I have discussed it with hubby after looking at billy's ear tonight, the right one: it seems way better than yesterday and this morning. We will keep the sedatives and cancel tomorrow's vet. We just dont have 300$ , again, for billy. And we will clean it daily and keep and eye on it. It looks like a scratch and NOT an ear infection so far.  

UPDATE

 Nevermind, we are taking billy to the vet tomorrow in the end- his ear still looks super nasty, full of blood.
