The radio in Hindi has been playing since noon today. I like the music. That was a big mystcial moment when I saw the bear with Billy. They are very amazing. I worry about Billy's reaction when we bumped into the bear. I think it may not have gone too smoothly if he had been off leash. I did not worry with Apollo (our old dog who passed away in 2020) and Whiskey as they are or were very big. But Billy is tiny and how to teach him to leave the bears alone and not attack? WE will have, to trust nature on that one. The bear was so close to us two. We literally bumped into him or her. Billy was crazy disobedient before, on a scent trail like mad 20 minutes earlier than our encounter. I always am very calm when I meet a bear. I have bumped, very close, into many. Thanklfully, my doog at the time were usually on leash. BJG never puts them on leash in the forest. I have to trust the mystical wild nature and BIlly to understand distance and respect of each other . Bears encounter are ALWAYS mystical encounters for both hubby and I. Lets hope Billy never attacks them. He would truly get in trouble being so small. Bears are always super gentle around here. Many of them preferred to climb up a tree than respond to the inquisition of our two older dogs, apollo and whiskey, since 2014. Billy first reaction was to growl. Our other dogs never did that.
