Blues is playing on the radio. Today was great: we shopped for plants and dirt and compost and i gardened for about 2-3 hours. I  have not cooked yet today so we lived off yesterday's carrot soup (I made the full recipe for 6 persons) and quiche. I may make a feta and spinach quiche later tonight for late night snack and tomorrow's breakfast.

I planted three hostas and went twice to look at flowers at Home Depot. Our grocery next door sells their plants almost twice the price and more of Home Depot. Sigh: we could have saved a lot of money had we gone to Home Depot.
