We save about 20$ a day so far since saturday by me reducing my intake of cigarettes daily and ourly throughout the week. Thats 140$ saved for the first week. We have 600-700$ left for one week for two, including our daily expenses and smokes only. I dont think we have a bill to pay in the next week. AND I saved already 150$ from my 200$ biweekly income from hubby into the smart saver account. Stopping to smoke cigarettes (and eventually pot, if hubby can get on the bandwagon) will save us a ton of money and make a HUGE difference to our finances.
UPDATE
It is almost 7pm. I am TOTALLY obsessed wiht counting cigarettes today instead of focusing on changing my habits like was so successful this past week. I think it is because I am so high today, I have less self control of the zen kind. Effortless. I bought a small bottle of Baileys for the week. 35$. I buy about one a month. Christmas sees us drink a lot of booze but that is the only time with January 1st. Two weeks of heavy drinking or a month a year. (Our wedding anniversary is december 2nd and hubby's bday is nov 24th). i love this period of the year. hopefully, I will be a non smoker by chirstmas this year. I am practicing being intoxicated and still not smoking more than one cig an hour...it takes practice. It has to be repeated for a month, daily: one cig an hour. The aim. I am drinking the baileys tonight. I got really grumpy with BJG and the dogs in the car: it was too hot and I had very little smokes today. 16 smokes in 11 hours. Today I am grumpy and I dont like going for car rides in that heat (we have no air con).
