There is a wonderful tibetan monk from Toronto. He is Khenpo. Over the years (about 10 or 15 years), he has always been extra kind to me and very wise and gentle. He used to teach me about buddhism, privately, at his Temple. I paid a small stipend for his teachings to support the temple. He also tried to teach me Tibetan language in the written form but I failed miserably. Instead, he translated into tibetan, letters I used to send to India to a Tibetan friend with poor english.

Recently, his temple has been closed to the public (since covid). But he still leads prayers for Medicine Buddha on zoom on tuesdays at 7:30 eastern time.
