As much as he sounds deeply disgusted by us all and by himself. As much as he seems obsessed with the grotesque and morbid and bleak view of humanity, he has an interesting take on animal consciousness. I LOVED his view and totally agree with it. Basically, meeting our pets is like meeting aliens froma totally different universe (my wording). And wildlife too of course.
