It is super late. I went to bed at 9:15pm and woke up at 1:30am, and was bad and decided to get up! Sigh. I am out of smokes. 

What to do now that I am up and smokeless? I have momentarily lost contact with three friends in Ontario. Their lives are very worried and busy. They all have families, some with suicidal teens. Others with children with learning disabilities dicovered recently at 13.  Being a parent sounds super tough on nerves and one worries a lot. 

It is now 2h40am and coffee,, a second one, is being made. Hubby got up to take a leak. He went back to bed. Today, we are supposed to buy and plant one or two ferns. They are not too expensive at Home Depot. My parents always go to RONA but I have found, in anglo canada at least, Home depot to be better...better quality and better choice. 

I feel so blessed in the last year. Especially since Christmas 2021. Thanks to photos we took, I will always have a clear memory of the snowfall of 2021 that lasted a good 3 weeks in BC Lower Mainland. It started around the 24th. It was dreamy. A  white quebec snowy Noel and no siberian temperatures unlike out east...ideal!
