It is 12:30am. I just woke up after sleeping for 2.5 hours. I did not take any melatonine last night. The natural sleeping aid. I received my copy of Room magazine The open issue. It is so modern! I certainly do  not write like that. In short: I have to read more modern contemporary poets! I am so dated and old fashion! In Room however, most peole are of colour and/or Transexual or something else. So it is a totally foreign world, and that is good for my mind to read. I feel a bit irrelevant and that is fine: Time to open up to the modern world. The new generation! I will read some of it right now, tonight.

So far I really like Boni S. Kaplan, who lives in California and Sneha Madhavan-Reese, who lives in Ottawa and incidentally, has a book upcoming with Brick Books in 2023.
