It is with regret but relief that we announce the passing, within 2 hours, of our beloved elder dog Apollo this morning, on BJG's birthday. He had a seizure in the car as we set out to go buy Atwood's latest poetry book, and we drove straight to the vet instead. We were told he had a mass in his belly and probably metastasis in his brain. He was put down this morning.

A middle age Apollo, still young at about 4-5 years old.

Apollo cozy on my Ste Genevieve residence's blanket.

At around 2 or 3 years old, in Toronto.

This photo was taken the month of May 2008, when I got him the day he turned 2 years old. We lived in a room in an apartment on St Clarens and joined Hubby and Jerry about a year later.
